Lee Kryst

With over 15 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Lee Kryst has honed his skills in various cuisines worldwide. Originating and graduating from culinary school in the UK and working as a head chef in many restaurants, he travelled around Europe and Asia to expand his knowledge and passion whilst learning new cooking techniques and discovering new ingredients. Arriving in Bali almost a decade ago, He started consulting some of Ubud’s best restaurants and training the next generation of chefs with his knowledge and skills. Lee Kryst has been working with Taksu for 4 years managing all areas of our food and beverage department including recipe development and menu design for both Tastes Of Taksu Garden restaurant and Topeng fine dining as well as managing our in-house bakery, bar sushi kitchen and medicinal gardens.

Chef Lee Kryst is known for his innovative approach to traditional dishes, blending classic techniques with modern flavours. His passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients is evident in every dish he creates.
